Friday Art Class
Starts: Friday 14th February
Last week: Friday 4th April (8 weeks)
Join us for a creative journey where children have the freedom to explore their creative curiosities and work on a project of their choice. In the studio, children have access to a wide selection of high-quality art materials, giving them the tools to bring their ideas to life. Over the term, we focus on developing artistic skills by working on pieces over several weeks, allowing children to:
- Build confidence in their abilities.
- Develop perseverance and creative problem-solving skills.
- Increase focus, attention to detail, and intentionality.
Rather than rushing to finish, children are encouraged to take their time, reflect on their artwork, and think about how it might evolve. Together, we navigate challenges and explore strategies to resolve any elements they may want to improve.
For children unsure of where to begin, I offer plenty of suggestions to spark inspiration. It doesn’t take long for them to find their own groove and unique direction. My role is to gently guide them, fostering independence and encouraging their creative expression.
Each week, classes are tailored to suit the needs and capabilities of each child, ensuring a meaningful and enriching experience.
NOTE:
The fee for the term is $280 ($35 per class). Early bird fee is $265, paid before January 15th. Fee is paid in full at the beginning of the term. This fee includes all materials.
*Please speak to me if you need a payment plan as this is also available if needed.
All materials are included. I suggest wearing old clothes, because whilst there are smocks available, we do sometimes make a bit of a mess! A large T-shirt works really well!
DROP OFF is at 3.30pm and PICK UP at 5pm.
If your child experiences anxiety and separation concerns please contact me so we can work out a way to support them at drop off. The studio is a sweet, cosy space (aka not large!) and having parents at the class tends to really distract and make it challenging for some children to engage.
